How to move a domain

  1. Add the domain in the console and copy over its records from your current DNS host.
  2. At your registrar, set the name servers to ns1.tport.cloud and ns2.tport.cloud.
  3. Name server changes reach most of the world within a few hours, and everyone within two days.

Records

A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, SRV, CAA and NS records, each with its own TTL. Edit them in the console or through the API.

Two regions

ns1.tport.cloud answers from the EU and ns2.tport.cloud from the US, so your domain keeps resolving if one region has trouble.

Reverse DNS

Every server gets a name like web1.eu.tport.cloud with matching forward and reverse records. Point your own domain at it and you can set its reverse DNS to that name instead.
